MedConference LLC Releases MCL 3.0
Cutting Edge Technology Designed For Life Sciences Industry
Norristown, PA – July 27, 2007 - MedConference LLC, an inVentiv Health company, (NASDAQ: VTIV) has launched a much anticipated and extensively updated version of their popular web event platform, MedConferenceLive. MCL 3.0 reflects not only the most cutting edge technology but has been designed based on specific client feedback to more effectively cater to clients in the Life Sciences Industry.
Along with many updates to the platform itself, MedConference LLC has also made numerous upgrades to their Registration, Set Up, and Reporting features. MedConference LLC will still be able to customize the look and feel of individual registration and login pages to include client logos, color schemes and links. In addition, MedConference LLC will now offer individual user profiles to allow for better client control of restricted sites and registration pages. This feature will also enable users to easily register for multiple events, while maintaining a single username and password.
In addition to being able to customize the MCL 3.0 platform with client logos, colors and links, MedConference LLC can now offer the use of speaker video during events. For events with more than one speaker, MCL 3.0 now can enable speaker’s name and photo to change on a slide by slide basis. The new platform also allows for speaker video to be broadcast during the event.
The text chat feature in MCL 3.0 remains relatively similar to previous versions, and now allows speakers to see the exact time a chat question or comment was submitted. The new version of text chat also lets speakers mark specific chat messages, making the questions easier to find for later reference.
MCL 3.0 now supports 3 different types of polling options: radio buttons (choose one), check boxes (choose all), and text. The radio button and check box polling questions can now support an unlimited number of response options, compared to 5 previously. The radio button and check
box responses will still display results in real-time to allow for speaker response. The text option allows users to type in their answers which will be available for the speaker to view in the report
after the event. Results for all polling questions, including individual attendee responses, are immediately available after the event.
MCL 3.0 will also give MedConference LLC clients immediate access to post event reports. At the conclusion of the event, all attendance, evaluations, polling responses and chat logs will be available for download in either Excel or XML formats. Click here for more information.
